Pedigree

KR Kaltan (Kubinec x Masha x Nadir I) born 2008, is from Straight Russian Lines. He is wellbuilt with a look and type that reveals both his sire, the legend Kubinec and also his dam line. He is out of Masha by Nadir I and out of Marenga. KR Kaltan's pedigree includes some of the best Russian breeding and show horses. Several of the horses at his lines have also bred excellent performance horses - among other disciplines also within racing.

 

Kubinec (Balaton x Kosmetica x Muscat) was born on State Stud Tersk, Russia. When Kubinec was four years old he was sold from Russia to Karl-Heinz Stoeckle, Osterhof Stud in Germany. Kubinec has achieved many titles: European Champion, World Champion Stallion, German National Champion, Nations Cup Res. Champion Stallion, Platinum Cup Stallion, ect. In 1995 he was named "Arabian of the Year" by the readers of Arabian Journal (Europe). In 2002 he made an incredible comeback at the All Nations Cup, where he (again ) won the hearts of everybody. In 2004, he was sold to 'Kubination Partnership' and in 2006 he got the title: (as the first and only) 5 star ECAHO stallion. Kubinec was available in many years from Kossack Stud, Nederlands and from Osterhof until the day he passed away - right around Christmas Eve 2012.

 

Kubinec's sire; Balaton - was bred and owned by Tersk Stud, Russia, where he was Chief Sire. Balaton was leased out to the Kossack Stud, Nederlands for many years. Balaton had very good results racing (Race record : 2/10 (0-3-4)) and in the showring he was titled with: Regional Champion Stallion, Nederlands, National Champion Stallion, Nederlands, European Reserve Champion, Aachen in 1991. European Champion, Nederlands 1992. Balaton died in 2005.

 

The Muscat daughter Kosmetika, is the dam of Kubinec, and she has made ​​a number of offsprings with great succes, in her time as a broodmare at Tersk Stud in Russia. She was both bred and owned by Tersk. Kosmetika died in 1996.

 

KR Kaltans mother Masha (Nadir I x Marenga x Menes) is a wonderfull mare. She was imported to Denmark from Sax Arabians by Mattrup Arabians, after which she was sold to Kres Arabians in 2006. She is well built with elegant type, and an incredibly feminine beauty. Masha was showed early, and got the title International Foal Champion, Kreuth. Masha has made 3 foals. The first MW Iphigenia, 2005, bred by Mattrup Arabians, were exported to New Zealand as a foal. KR Mashokan Ibn Mirokan, 2006 bred by Kres Arabians were sold to Anne Marie Rasmussen as a riding horse in early 2009. And KR Kaltan, born in 2008 at Kres Arabians. Masha was in 2013 sold to Line Østergaard, Maxima Arabians.

 

Masha's sire Nadir I - multi Champion in Show ring, and with following titles among others: European Champion, World res. Champion, All Nations Cup Aachen Champion, German National Champion and French National Champion. Nadir I is by Neman, and out of  Neschi - a daughter of the stallion Kilimandscharo. Nadir I is a full brother to Negresco - European Champion, Neschnij - Top Ten Scottsdale, Sire in the United States and Brazil, as well as Nagadir - stallion at stud Gut Alemich in Germany (where both Neman & Kilimandscharo was living most of their lives). Nadir I is bred by Silvia Garde-Ehlert (Gut Alemich) and was for many years owned by Shamilah Arabians, France. When the stud closed, he was bought by SAX in Germany, where he lived untill he died. Nadir I has bred countless Show Champions. To be mentioned among others: Al Nadir Ibn Krushinka - International Champion, Deurne - German National res. Champion etc. Nadija Bint Nadir - Filly Foal Champion.

 

Masha's mother is the lovely Menes daughter Marenga - an incredibly charismatic and well built mare with fantastic movements. She has in the show ring achieved the following titles: European Junior Champion, German National Junior Champion, Aachen - International Champion, Belgium - European Senior res. Champion, German Senior Champion Mare. Marenga has for many years been a broodmare at SAX, and has given the Stud several splendid offsprings. She is the dam of the excellent Kubinec daughter Marena - multi champion in Showring, Marengo Ibn Baghdad - stallion sold to France, and the two full brothers Massai Ibn Marenga and Massimo Ibn Mirokan both with great results in Showring.

 

Marenga's sire Menes was one of the world's best producing stallions, among his exceptional offsprins: Balaton - European & National Champion,  Medal - World & European Champion, Menestrel Al Shamilah - World & European Junior Champion, Emperator - World Champion, Gonorar - British National Champion. Menes also produces nice performance horses: Lalique DS - British National Ridden Champion, Septer - US National Jun.Champion Western Pleasure - and successful racehorses as example: Vaimar, Vengria, Putnik, Prophecy EC and Bombina.
